The Wagfest Memorial Fund's Terms and Conditions are designed to establish the legal relationship between the fund and the families it supports. Any revenue raised by Wagfest Memorial Fund, Inc are used for the purpose of helping the families it serves and strictly adheres to the section 501(c)(3) Internal Revenue code. Wagfest Memorial Fund is responsible for it's own record-keeping and can provide an Impact Report along with an updated Statement of Financial Activites upon request. These Terms and Conditions ensure that the fund can provide financial assistance to eligible families while also outlining the rights and responsibilities of both parties. Wagfest Memorial Fund, Inc maintains full transparency of it's mission statement, bylaws, and financial disclosures.
Wagfest Memorial Fund, Inc mission is to help families with expenses when they have suddenly lost a child through no fault of their own. Eligibility criteria for financial support is as follows: The child/young adult must be age 26 or younger at the time of death. The chil must live within a 100 mile radius of the Elmira, NY area or had a recent relocation out of the area(within the last 365 days of death) within 50 miles outside of the area we serve. Any parent, family member, or friend of the family has the right to reach out for more information on the Fund and what help it provides. Wagfest Memorial Fund, Inc provides a legal vetting process for every family and tailor help to their individual needs. . Wagfest Memorial Fund, Inc reserves the right to decline help to any family who is able to amply cover their expenses through a success crowd funding campaigin. All decisions made by members of the Wagfest Memorial Fund Inc board members are not based on race, creed, color, ordisbility status. It is crucial for both Wagfest Memorial Fund, Inc board members and the family it will serve to thoroughly review and comprehend these terms.
